Far East Cycles Titanium parts
« on: April 01, 2021, 12:47:42 PM »
FAR EAST has been posting some TI parts lately. I'm not sure if they are prototypes/ one-offs or if they will be production.

First up, "One piece E.T Titanium BAR/STEM COMBO"

The FEC freecoaster with TI hardware you already know about. It's been out for some years now.

Yes and I just got the news the slightest bit too late. Had I known a few days ago I coulda spent my stimulus money very differently. I'm kidding mostly, I like light parts as much as the next person but

a) I'm not willing to spend outrageous sums of money
b) I don't want my bike too light anyways, especially when riding on windy days

These look very cool though. I wonder what a bike composed of all these parts plus everything else as light as can be - how low do you think the weight would be? Under 12lbs (5.4kg)? Even lighter? It's hard to imagine how something so light would feel to ride.

Wow, still seems insane to pay soooo much but it's still only down to 14-15 lbs. more power to you though if you have the money to do so, not for me unless I win the lottery or something. Of course if I won the lottery then my town would become home to a gigantic flatland arena inside of an enormous climate controlled warehouse where anybody could come and ride 24/7/365, with plenty of contests and jams, free lessons for anyone wanting to learn, oh man I'd have fun with millions of dollars....

Do you mean because of the colour? Or the shape? I could understand it...
