firehydrants can be tricky at first. when you spin around from your comfy side of the bike and start to carve wait until a little after the tire leaves the ground before you touch the front brake at all. after that you have to kinda ease into the front brake to help keep the correct frame momentum. when the frame is swinging around and you are about to set your foot on the top tube to catch it the brake should be fully locked. oh ya and set your pedals for the rideout as with any other trick. just keep trying and if you put in the time you will get em dude. how good are you at riding the fork glide? do you grab the seat at all? have you mastered getting out of the forkglide?
