I think the photo is generally fine, but obviously if you scale it greater than the actual image you will see some distortion.

Really dig the design and layout. Always a fan of width: 100%, but it does get alittle funky at full screen. Although you don't want to load too large of an image on your homepage...its a give or take. Got some nice effects too without Flash.
