Last weekend the first Milkshake series took place. This contest is organized by the Milkshake Ladies association who's aim is to promote sports like BMX, skateboard, inline skate - but only for girls. For 3 years this event was called Rid2z event and was in Montpellier ( at the same place like the Nokia FISE ). This year the Milkshake series was in Poussan's bowl ( 30km away from Montpellier). Close to the bowl there's also a basketball court with a smooth ground for flatland riders. So the place was nice, the weather was nice, and the girls were awesome ! For the fist time, there was a flatland demo. 3 girls riding was not enough  to run a contest but it was enough to show people what flatland is and how cool it is when a sport is not 100% male. After the street BMX, skateboard and roller contests, boys were authorized to ride with the girls and once again it was cool.
Next year the Milkshake Ladies hope to have enough girls to run a flatland contest so if you know a girl rider come with her to the next Milkshake series because it's important to show the girls' power, and so nice to watch it!
