Modern Bikes is working on a new prototype frame. Interestingly they will also make a prototype with enclosed dropouts as you can see in the drawing above. Doesn't make any sense? Yes, it does, if you have a hub with a female axle then this design works without problems while making the dropout stronger. Check out the Modern Bikes forum discussion as well.
