Believe it or not but it's going to be the first Circle of Balance for Matthias! Back in 2007 Alex and Raphael were representing France. While Matthias won pretty much everything you can win in flatland in the meantime the the COB title is missing in his collection. Do you think he'll take it?
When did you start riding and what made you start? In 2002. I saw it on TV and thought it was awesome!
What’s your riding style? I ride street as well, so I can do street tricks on flat ground as well.
Any big influences? The diversity of BMX!!!
What’s your killer move? Half cab tailwhip to peg wheelie!
How’s the flatland environment in your country? Lots of street riders!
What was the highlight of your career? I won the world circuit 3 times, and won the NORA cup twice.
What is Red Bull Circle of Balance to you? The world’s biggest, awesome, legendary flatland tournament.
