Have you heard of Twitter yet ? Sounds a bit like a disease but it´s actually a micro-blogging site. Check Wikipedia if you haven´t heard of it.

It´s getting quite famous so we set up a Global-Flat account to tweet some flatland news into the Twitterverse.

Lotek Flatland Shoe by Terry Adams by Martin
Terry designed his own Lotek shoe model:

"Lotek has been a sponsor of mine since 2004. I am proud to announce Lotek will be releasing a "Terry Adams" Colorway Model shoe that will drop in July of 2009! I picked the colors on a model that they are no longer making anymore. It was my favorite shoe. The shoe feels awesome for flatland!

I hope all of you will get a pair when they drop! Support shoe companies that support flatland."

BMX War Jam 2008 Report by Martin
At the beginning of the month the BMX War Jam took place in Costa Rica. Andreas wrote down a report for you:

"The beginning of December is not considered a good time to ride one´s bike in many parts of the world. The weather might be disgusting with a lot of rain, snow and without sun. Not so in Nicoya, Costa Rica, where on December 6th and 7th the “BMX War Jam" was held. Throughout the weekend we were literally grilled by the sun that was burning down on us.." - read the whole article.

Mexico: Revolcon Final by Matthias by Martin
"Last week end I have been to Mexico to enter the last stop of The Revolcon Contest ( a BMX contest-series in Mexico). Eveything went fine. The contest took place in Guadalajara (north west Mexico) where itīs a really nice place to stay. I īve been chilling around with the bmx scene there. They have a nice bmx shop called Mutante Bikes. The level during the competition (Park, Dirt, Flat, Mini and Spine) was really nice. In flat, one of the rider ( canīt remember his name) was 13 years old and was doing bunnywhip and the terryīs exit from hitchiker!!! Insane. The contest was in the middle of the skatepark and all riders, whatever street or flat, were really pumped by flatland!" - Matthias

1st Matthias Dandois (Paris)
2nd David Guerra Canedo (Edo Mex.)
3rd Miguel Angel Martinez (Oaxaca)
4th Angel Arturo Contreras (Veracruz)
5th Victor Palacios (Veracruz)

Photos / Results: Mutant Bikes. Full story in the next Cream.
